Be yourself. If you pretend to be somebody you aren't with your friends, and then they find out, you're in deep dookie. Just remember: If they're really your friends, they'll like you for who you are. Think about that for the rest of the day and think about all the things you pretended about in the last week.

Music is the Beauty AND the Beast
I like music... A LOT. It is said that music can cleanse the soul. If that is true, I'm guessing so is the contrary. Take rock for example. "The Devil's Music". In my opinion, rock is gritty, and rough, but it is also anything but the Devil's Music. I love rock music, but not all of it. If it is all so conjoined that you can not hear the lead singers voice and you can not tell the lead guitar from the keyboard, you have a problem. Some of my favorite rock bands are Seether, The Hives, and Green Day. I put these because not only are they my favorites, but they are very, very different. Seether with it's clean, hard rock sound, The Hives with their more unrefined sound, and last but not least, Green Day with it's amazing touch of punk and rock combined to satisfy rock and punk lovers everywhere.
Another type of music I would like to bring to the attention of my audience is Rap Music. Where to begin? Drugs, Sex, and violence. That about covers it. You don't hear much variety in rap music nowadays. It was different a while ago. One of the most amazing Rappers who didn't even set a bad example was 2pac. You never heard him talk about "tearing somebody's back open with a Beretta" or doing drugs in the back of a club. He didn't even swear that much! Now it's different. 50 cent with the F*** word in every line, and always talking about how "gangsta" he is.
In my opinion, Old School Rap was better, and better for the kids who are now walking around in "Bapes" and fake gold chains. To quote 2pac: "Be who you are and don't let anybody change you". Now to quote 50 cent: "You ain't nothin' if you ain't gangsta".
